The Steady Steppers™ have designed and offer a Stepping dance instructional program for the beginner to the accomplished Stepper. Our classes are open to all ages and are held on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s in Detroit, MI at Unique Enterprizes Studio/Rental Hall, 18846 W. 7 Mile Rd, Detroit, MI and on Wednesday’s in Inkster, MI at Mr. Smooth’s Café, 27440 Michigan Ave. (at Inkster Rd.), Inkster, MI and the fee is $8 per session. Doors open at 6:30pm and the classes are from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. A dance partner is suggested but not a requirement and all participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and hard sole shoes or dance shoes. It is also recommended that you visit your doctor for a physical exam before participating. The Steady Steppers™ Detroit Stepping Class Schedule Day: Every Tuesday Location: Unique Enterprizes Studio/Rental Hall Day: Every Thursday Location: Unique Enterprizes Studio/Rental Hall Continual Progressive Stepping Instructional Program Our program is not a 4-week, or 6-week, etc. course but instead we offer a ‘Continual Progressive’ instructional program. With our ‘Continual Progressive’ instructional program, participants with different levels of dance skills or understanding of this dance can enter into our weekly classes, at any time, comfortably and progress with a pace that is comfortable for you. If you miss a week or two or more, ‘So What!’, when you do return, we will provide remedial instruction that will reinforce your comfort for this dance and address your level of dance skills. To provide increased flexibility, instruction is offered in both the 6-count and 8-count format. The Steady Steppers™ Steppin Instructional DVD’s For the individual that has a conflicting schedule to our twice a week instructional program or for the person who wants a reinforcement of our lessons or for the person that just wants an excellent resource video, we offer The Steady Steppers™ instructional videos featuring our instructors and students. Our videos are in DVD format and address Stepping floor etiquette, dance structure, timing, ‘Follow’ techniques, ‘Lead’ techniques, hand positioning, feet positioning, body positioning for the beginner to the accomplished Stepping enthusiast. We also offer instruction in trios, a dynamic feature within the Stepping community. (Read More) The Steady Steppers™ Stepping Information The Steady Steppers™ offer workshops, private lessons, and group sessions for every level of Steppin’. We are also available for demonstrations and performances. Kammal Smith and Larry Collins are the lead instructors for The Steady Steppers. The associate instructors are Ricky Banks, Bobby Watkins, Al Ebo, Darby Settles, Cecil Jackson, Talibah Smith, Stacy Robb, Daniella Borum, Lucille Brown, Felecia Wall, Carol Turk, Valerie Grigsby and D’Lillian. The Steady Steppers™ Las Vegas Stepping Class Schedule The Steady Steppers have a chapter in Las Vegas, Nevada and Chicago Step instructional classes are offered every Wednesday at the Dula Gym a.k.a. The Dula Community Center which is located at 441 E. Bonanza Rd (corner of Las Vegas Blvd. & Bonanza), Las Vegas, NV.
